Something I made a long time ago, but never posted. You have probably seen the image before, you can find it on the net a lot. I remember liking it so much that I decided to duplicate it (with which I mean trying to make the exact same from scratch) and just messed about with some effects. It's really nothing special, but I just stumbled over it and noticed I never posted it.
I called it 'Phoenix'. Here it is:

I think if you make the background color on your desktop black and set the image as your wallpaper and the mode to 'center', it should work out for you.

You asked for a version with a transparent background, so here it is. It could be that Windows Viewer can't make sense of the transparency and slaps a white background behind it. This can be confusing, making you think that it has a white background while it really is a transparent one. So you're better off viewing it and working with it in a paint/image manipulation program. The image is totally free for public use. Use it as you wish.

Since I was doing the one for Slaughter anyway, I made one in your size as well. 1400x900px and I preserved the aspect ratio.
