You need the file extension at the end of the link to get it to show as an image. Right-click the image, then go to "Properties". Copy the address of the picture and paste it on the forum post and surround that with the "img" bbcode tags. That'll get it to show.

operating system: 

bastardized windows xp pro. I used a program called nLite to remove all the bloatware, unnecessary junk drivers etc and took the 600MB install disk down to 80MB or so, with specific drivers, the install disk is less than 200MB. to put that into perspective, light up a cig, go to install windows, the installation finishes and is at the desktop before you finish the smoke

the case i custom built using polycarbonate (lexan) and a bridgeport 3 axis mill to cut out the openings. the cool thing bout the case is that its damn near indestructable... ive taken baseball bats and hammers to the material and i couldnt break it. the guts of the computer will fall apart before the case will break. 

 

the screen is a heavily modified 8" Lilliput touch screen. i took apart the oem case and fabricated my own case to fit bmw's dashboard. in the case i fabricated, i have the remnants of a dell keyboard for the media play buttons and volume knob which i fabricated into the front of the monitor case, the touch screen driver board, radio shack buttons wired into the screens front circuit board for brightness, auto adjust and menu options. 

 

and yes... it can game... not very high framerates tho, using aquamark3 it fared ok, with an additional pcie graphix then it'd be a nice lil game box but for an automotive application it needs to be as low power as possible. im pretty sure it "could" play freelancer...
