Hi Fellow Freelancer.
I started to play Freelancer about 5 years ago starting out on the Jolt server, lots of fun, but I wanted like most people something more, so I looked on the server list and found Tekagis. Downloaded version, I think it was 5.30 or 5.31 and started to play.
Some time later I created the CDU Clan (Coffee Drinkers Union), as hunter we played along side the WLB as they were one of the largest Clans around at the time, and of course our enemies the APOC were everywhere. We had the clan for about 2 years and then I had to leave Tekagis for about 8 months due to RL issues.
On my return to Tekagis, I came back as a single player with my son Crazy (Ethan), we played for some time and then out of the blue Ringy caught me in space and asked would I like to be an SP (Server Police), well as most people would do, I jumped at the chance.
A few months later Tekagis took a major blow, we lost our dear friend and Tekagis Treasure creator, Unicornz, may he always be remembered.
Tekagis went through some changes over the following months, as in we moved onto a different server version, I, like the other Admins and SP's help with the transition, it was at this point that I was offered to become Admin.
Now the next thing to happen took me completely by surprise, Ringy was trying to run the mod and mod the mod at the same time, but as we know that is not really possible. So a call came into Admin chat......
Ringy "Rags I would like to know if you would like to take over the running of Tekagis"
Ok you can imagine my surprise.... I took the offer and have been here since.
In a small way a dream has come true here for me, 5 years ago I said to my son that one day I will have a server, and that small dream did come true... but there are a lot of people to thank for this to have come true.
