In this thread we discuss our favorite games and discuss why we enjoy them.

 

Rules:

 

Do not cause arguments with other users over their preference of games. It is their opinion, not yours.

(This does not mean that you cannot question their opinions, as long as it remains a debate and not a flame war, it's fine.)

 

You are allowed to post images and video clips of the game.

 

Do NOT reveal any spoilers, it ruins the game for everyone else.

 

Well, they're the only two rules, anything else just go for it.  

 

Example:
 

One of my favorite game series of all time has to be Mass Effect.

 

It's a futuristic RPG and is awesome, the story and game-play elements are just amazing and the graphical detail and modelling are great.

 

It is a 3-game series and each game takes roughly 24-35 hours to complete, depending on whether you do the side-missions or not, overall extremely worth it.

 

Only negatives about it are the endings to the 3rd game, it caused a lot of controversy over the internet, but Bioware have released expanded endings for the game, showing your decisions effect upon the whole galaxy.

 

That would be a suitable post, no spoilers and just a brief description of the game.

 

Bad Example: 

 

Mass Effect's storyline is amazing, you have to and eventually kill ---------- and save the galaxy from everything! (Blurred out any spoiler-related words...)

Nice post Outlaw

 

Rose Tyler, Caledonia and myself have been playing Star Trek Online a fare bit, while we wait for T.R.

 

Its a really good game, and best of all its free to play. Just have to register on the website and download the client, easy as peas

There are loads of missions to complete to level up a character and lots of star ships to acquire and gear and equipment to collect.

It has a lot of players online but you don't have to interact with anyone if you don't want to, on the other hand teaming up with friends is easy and you can complete missions together as well.

Plus its not all about space missions either, there is a good mix of away missions where you beam down to a planet and complete the mission there, this too can be done with a friend or friends.

All in all its a good game with plenty to do.

hi ya folks, been a while since i been here.

 

I'm playing Diablo 3 atm, a very good rpg game. i was a fan of diablo 2 aswell, but i do like the new game, theres 5 characters to choose from, can be male or female.

like my friend ace says, at the moment i´m spending most of my free time playing star trek online. seeing as freelancer is on hold till the new place is opened,

so for the time being the UHG clan is staying alive in a different game, but with the same mission. Unicornz.

hi guys,

just wanted to have a look around to see if any of my old pals on tekagis might be playing on the Star trek online server nowadays.

have already met up with ace and rosey, just recently also added spirit there to my friends list. would be cool to see more there.

Spirit and myself have created 2 fleets there, the UHG of course and spirits fleet the " defenders of Or".

Yep I'm also playing STO when I get a chance, and occasionally play Quake online on the Tastyspleen server.

That's about it for multiplayer,  I'm playing quite a bit of stuff that's single player because of some things I have going on IRL I often have to stop and leave the game.

Singleplayer games I'm playing at the moment: Left 4 Dead 2 , Borderlands , Shadowrun Returns.
